Solaire Resort Quezon City Casino: the property and its location
Property and location research updated 26 October 2026.
A different Solaire address in Metro Manila
Solaire Resort Quezon City occupies an address in Vertis North, Bagong Pag-Asa, rather than the Manila Bay district associated with Solaire Resort Entertainment City. The distinction matters when arranging transport or reading older publicity that calls this property Solaire Resort North. Its current accommodation portfolio includes Deluxe Rooms, corner Grand Deluxe Rooms and progressively larger suites. The published entry categories measure 42 and 49 square metres respectively, while the Premiere Suite is listed at 94 square metres. These differences describe actual room layouts, not simply alternative marketing labels. Confirming the property name and room category is therefore more useful than assuming every Solaire reservation offers the same setting.

Glass artwork as a focal point
The Mangrove installation gives the resort a visual identity beyond its gaming areas. Its glass forms rise and curve upward, interpreting the structure and movement of a mangrove through an architectural artwork rather than a botanical display. Solaire dates the completed installation and unveiling to January 2025 and describes it as the Guinness World Records holder for the largest glass tube installation. That record designation is attributed here to the operator. The work is a useful subject for visitors interested in contemporary hospitality design: it makes a large interior installation, rather than a conventional exterior monument, part of the property's public presentation.

An elevated dining and evening setting
Skybar occupies Level 38, introducing a high vantage point to a property whose facilities are spread vertically. Its official description distinguishes indoor and outdoor areas and a separate cigar room. Those are different environments, so the existence of an outdoor terrace should not be read as a promise that every table has the same outlook or atmosphere. The venue specifies smart casual clothing and an age restriction of eighteen and above. These are its published venue conditions, not a general statement about access to every part of the resort. For a group visit, checking the intended seating area is more practical than relying solely on skyline photographs.

Family facilities with defined supervision
The Kids Club on Level 6 is a five level play facility with two party rooms, a snack bar and a games room. Its published rules make clear that this is not unrestricted childcare. Children aged one to eight require a guardian; those under four need individual supervision and are restricted to the My Town area. Older children aged nine to seventeen need an accompanying guardian for registration and departure, although the guardian need not remain inside. Sessions last two hours, with cleaning intervals between them. Families should build those timings and supervision responsibilities into their plans rather than assuming continuous access throughout a hotel stay.

Recreation above the surrounding streets
The outdoor fitness deck adds pickleball and a basketball half court to the resort's recreation options. Unlike a public neighbourhood court, it operates through advance reservations, with the published terms requesting at least twenty four hours' notice. Sessions are limited to two hours. The rules also describe how registered hotel guests may invite a limited number of outside guests, subject to the stated group limits. This makes the deck a scheduled activity rather than an amenity to assume will be immediately available. Its presence is nevertheless distinctive: a hotel known for indoor entertainment also allocates outdoor space to informal sport and small group exercise.

Pool and waterpark spaces
The pool and waterpark provide another clearly distinct recreation setting. Solaire presents poolside cabanas separately from the waterpark’s themed installations, so these should not be confused with the indoor Kids Club. For families, that separation matters when deciding which facilities suit different ages and whether a supervised play session or an outdoor activity is preferable.

Hospitality training beyond the guest experience
A resort can also affect its city through employment preparation. On 17 April 2026, Solaire announced an agreement with the Quezon City government establishing the Solaire Hospitality Academy partnership. Quezon City University and the city's Public Employment Service Office were named participants. The programme covers areas including food and beverage, culinary work, housekeeping and guest services, connecting classroom preparation with hospitality operations. The announcement said lecture and training facilities would be established at the university's main campus. That wording describes a planned component, not proof that every facility was already complete or that participants had secured jobs. It provides a concrete local connection beyond visitor spending.

Reading the city through its memorial
Away from the resort, Quezon Memorial Shrine offers a different kind of landmark. Its three pylons rise 66 metres, a height associated with Manuel Quezon's age at his death. The three angel figures represent Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, carrying sampaguita wreaths. The museum beneath the monument interprets Quezon's life and political career. Understanding these details turns the structure from a skyline reference into an introduction to the city's namesake. The shrine belongs to Quezon Memorial Circle, not to Solaire, and should be planned as a separate visit. It offers historical context that hotel interiors and commercial districts cannot supply on their own.

A public park undergoing change
Quezon Memorial Circle is also an evolving public landscape. The city government's redevelopment update, revised in September 2026, distinguishes facilities already operating by July from work still planned. Its completed list includes an elevated landscape promenade, lawn tennis facilities, a skate park, misting installations, solar charging stations and a dog park. An open field also serves a water retention function. Other sports facilities appear as future components and should not be treated as finished attractions. This distinction is useful when matching a park visit to a particular activity. The Circle combines recreation, infrastructure and commemoration rather than functioning simply as ornamental space around a monument.

Domestic history at Bahay Modernismo
Within the same broader park setting, Bahay Modernismo presents the scale of a home rather than a national monument. The city describes this heritage museum as an interpretation of a Filipino midcentury modern house, using preserved items from the Aquino family home on Times Street. Its rooms include a lanai, foyer, kitchen and bedrooms, alongside an exhibition of miniature models of Quezon City infrastructure. The combination connects everyday domestic arrangements with the development of the surrounding city. Visiting it alongside the shrine creates a useful contrast between public political memory and the design of private life, extending a Quezon City stay beyond the resort itself.

Official video: making Mangrove
This official Solaire Resort documentary follows the design, fabrication and installation of Mangrove. The project team discusses structural coordination, individual glass components, assembly sequencing and the practical challenge of integrating an artwork into a large atrium. Its historical production story complements the property description; it is not a statement about current visitor access or a guided-tour schedule.
