Paradise Casino Busan: the property and its location
Property and location research updated 26 October 2026.
A casino within a beachfront hotel
Paradise Casino Busan is located inside Paradise Hotel Busan at 296 Haeundaehaebyeon-ro in Haeundae-gu. Its relationship with the beach is central to its identity: this is a casino within a seaside hotel, not a detached gaming building in an inland entertainment district. The operator lists table games and electronic gaming facilities, with different floors serving different visitor arrangements. Those operational details should not be confused with a promise of unrestricted access for everyone using the hotel. The wider property accommodates people visiting for accommodation, dining and other nongaming purposes. Establishing the hotel address and the particular facility you need is therefore more useful than treating every part of Paradise as one interchangeable experience or assuming that a room reservation determines casino admission.

A property shaped by several eras
The hotel’s official history traces the site to a state railway hotel established in February 1957. The Paradise Beach Hotel name followed in November 1981, while the main hotel building opened in July 1987. A new building opened in September 1999, and later renovations continued to reshape the property. These milestones explain why different accounts attach different opening dates to Paradise: some refer to the business’s earlier history, others to particular buildings or renovation phases. The current introduction lists 529 rooms, rather than the larger totals found in some older reports. This distinction makes the hotel a useful example of an established seaside property that has evolved over decades, rather than a resort whose entire present form appeared at a single inauguration. The chronology records a comprehensive renovation of main building rooms in April 2006 and a further grand opening in April 2007, reinforcing the distinction between the property’s original establishment and later changes to accommodation.

Ocean Spa Cimer in the main building
Ocean Spa Cimer occupies the fourth floor of the main building. The hotel presents it as an outdoor spa environment with views over Haeundae, combining bathing areas with spaces to rest and an Aqua Bar. Its identity is different from a conventional indoor treatment room: the setting, open sky and relationship to the sea are part of the design. Practical arrangements are equally important. The current official guidance describes timed sessions with cleaning intervals and identifies the facility as reserved for hotel guests. It also publishes maintenance notices, including exceptions to the usual monthly closure pattern. These conditions should be checked for the intended date rather than inferred from photographs of the spa or from a package description written for another season.

A separate ocean pool experience
The Outdoor Ocean Spa Pool is on the fourth floor of the new building, so it should not be confused with Cimer in the main building. Its facilities include an infinity pool area, sunbeds, a poolside bar and a rooftop zone. The operator describes heated water and an outlook towards the beach, creating a resort experience above the shoreline rather than direct swimming in the sea. The rooftop area has its own restrictions, and the pool uses scheduled sessions. Knowing the building and facility name helps guests understand what a particular accommodation arrangement actually includes. It also avoids a common misunderstanding in hotel descriptions, where several distinct water facilities can be compressed into the vague phrase pool and spa.

Art beyond decorative scenery
The hotel publishes an art collection catalogue that gives visitors named works to look for. It lists Lee Ufan’s Relatum Infinity Lake from 2024, an untitled Joel Shapiro work from 1998 and works by David Hockney, Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Alex Katz. The selection spans sculpture, landscape imagery and other approaches rather than presenting the hotel’s interiors as a single visual theme. The catalogue is a starting point for identifying artworks, not permission to reproduce images or a guarantee that every listed piece is visible from every public area. For an art interested visitor, it adds another way to experience the property, alongside the beach, accommodation and dining, without making the casino the centre of the visit.

Dining with a view of the shore
On The Plate is the hotel’s buffet restaurant on the first floor of the main building. Its official description emphasises views towards Haeundae Beach and the garden, an outdoor terrace and an open kitchen format. These features help explain how dining is integrated with the seaside setting rather than hidden inside a windowless hospitality complex. Breakfast, lunch and dinner have separate operating arrangements, and the current page distinguishes breakfast access from other meal periods. Visitors should therefore consult the relevant meal information rather than assume that a general restaurant opening time applies throughout the day. The venue offers a useful example of the hotel’s broader identity: the coastal landscape is part of the experience even when guests remain inside the property.

Meetings and celebrations
The Grand Ballroom occupies the second floor of the main building and provides another reason for visitors to use the hotel. Its published floor area is 653 square metres, with different configurations for seminars, banquets, theatre seating and receptions. The official information lists capacity for 600 in theatre style, compared with 380 for a banquet, showing how strongly layout affects usable space. Smaller ballroom divisions allow events to use part of the venue rather than the full room. These specifications are useful for initial comparison, but an actual event still needs a suitable plan for staging, catering and circulation. The meeting facilities connect the property to business and social occasions as well as the more familiar image of a beach holiday.

A walk towards Dongbaekseom
Dongbaekseom provides a contrasting outdoor destination near Haeundae Beach. Korea Tourism Organization records its designation as a park on 1 September 1966 and describes a landscape of camellia and pine trees with a walking trail and places to pause. It offers a different way to experience the coastline from a hotel balcony or elevated pool. The park is an independent public destination, not an amenity operated by Paradise, and its setting should be understood separately from the hotel’s managed facilities. Including it in a wider Haeundae visit brings attention back to the shoreline and vegetation that surround the dense hotel district. Paradise Casino Busan is one part of that neighbourhood, not a complete account of what the coast offers.
